Canadian gamer looking for friends

I'm a mid-twenties software developer, avid gamer, and metalhead from Canada.

When I was young I was incredibly active, and in great shape... martial arts for 20 hrs a week, swimming, jogging, weights, and more, as well as working in a variety of very active jobs. However... many years of post secondary education took their toll, and since I've graduated life and work have been a whirlwind and somehow I never managed to fit exercise into the blur that is life zooming by. (it's already been 2 years!)

That has changed. I never do anything by halves... So once I had a WTF moment, I threw myself wholeheartedly into fixing my lifestyle.

I'm setting myself a series of increasingly challenging goals - first to lose weight intelligently while maintaining my lean body mass, then to increase my fitness level... with the ultimate goal being to look more like my profile picture than the Michelin man!

Looking for some friends, especially people who are aiming to get in shape as well as lose weight, gamers, metalheads, Canadians, or just friendly people!
