Hi everyone, I'm Donna and recently joined to help myself lose weight. I actually enjoy putting the foods I eat in the computer and it amazed me the amount of calories I was eating. I actually took one day and recorded all the food I had eaten on a regular day and couldn't believe the amount of calories. No wonder Ive gained back all the weight I had lost. I broke my ankle in June and have been sitting around for 7 weeks and it hasn't helped my weight loss goals any. I want to get back into some kinda of exercise routine and get this weight off. Any suggestions from someone that has been in my shoes as to how to get back into exercise while protecting my weaker ankle? It is still painful to walk long distances but I do want to get back into walking. Good luck to everyone....:-)

try swimming and lifting weights. The stationary bike may work as well, just adjust the seat until you ankle doesn't hurt.0

thanks for the pep talk. I already love this site..the fact that I keep up with my calories has helped me tremendously. I never knew the amount of calories I was eating and i was astonished when I did it on a regular day and found out exactly how many...wow. But its kinda nice to be able to put in what I eat and know that I have calories left for the rest of the day. Several ladies here at work have been doing this and have really lost the weight...that in itself is proof that it works. thanks again for the replies. :-)0
