yogurt question

Ok--ignorant question here:
I'm sort of new to yogurt eating-I never cared much for it in the past so that's why I don't know the answer to this:
When I open the containers of yogurt, there is often a bunch of liquid on the top. A couple of tablespoons maybe? I have been pouring it out figuring it's condensation or something-but it occurred to me that this could be something nutritious I'm pouring down the sink.
What is this junk and what do you do with it??
THANKS!!!!!!!!! :smooched:

Hehe, stir it in. It's sort of like the curds and whey that make up cottage cheese.0
