C25K Question

I downloaded the app on my iPhone and have been doing it, not religiously though. When do you know when to move up? I can't seem to get off Week 1. Some days it is easy for me to run for an entire minute and other days I feel like I am going to die and skip a run interval just to catch my breath. Should I just keep on and hope my endurance improves or stay with week 1 until it is easy, then progress to Week 2? Thanks!
