WHEN DO U TRACK?

JUST WANT TO KNOW - DO YOU GUYS TRACK YOUR FOOD AS THE DAY PROGRESSES OR DO U PLAN AHEAD? TIPS/TRICKS?

    Sometimes I pre track and sometimes I post track. For many months I pre tracked mostly cause I spent lots of time understanding what I was eating. Now I have a significantly better understanding so it's more like I track 50% before and 50% later on.

    as soon as i eat, or the next time i'm at my computer.

    Since I have the app on my cellphone I usually just type in what I eat after I eat it. So I post track :)
  • I HAVE FOUND THT IF I TRACK AS THE DAY GOES ON I END UP USING MY CALS UNNECCESARILY ON JUNK. HAVE STARTED PREPLANNING - HOPEFULLY THIS WORX N I CAN STICK TO IT

    Generally, I plan and log everything I'm going to eat for the day at the beginning of my day during calorie deficient cycles.

    I do not eat out (restaurants# and I prepare all of my own food so it makes this approach efficient and ideal for me. This approach may not be the best route for everyone.

    The biggest problem people run into by tracking as they go #if their eating sources are unpredictable) is that many people tend to over eat early in the day causing them to run out of calories early in the evening long before bed.

    Using my method, I not only plan out my meals, but I plan roughly when I am going to eat each item, and space them in a way as to control hunger and energy levels evenly throughout the day.

  • I try to plan ahead, but if something crops up ( eg:an unexpected dinner or lunch out) then I track as I post as I eat
