How Do I Count This Exercise?

I just completed a fairly rigorous exercise tape which included a warm up followed by weight lifting and a cool down. The reason it's so hard to quantify is because the leader would do lunges while simultaneously doing overhead presses. She would then go on to another "two-fer" and then return to that exercise or a variant of it. According to my heart rate monitor, I burned 315 calories (and I believe that it is fairly accurate) as I am tired and sweating. I looked at the exercises listed and nothing seems to fit. How do I register this? Any ideas? Thanks! :drinker:

  • Add your own excercize since you know the amount of calories burned.
  • Hi,

I do a boot camp 3 days a week and it is like you talked about weights and cardio combined which is the compound movement you mentioned. How I log mine is by the calories burned from my heart rate monitor. I enter it as fast paced walk and enter however many minutes equals the calories I burned. Don't know what others do but that is how I have done mine.

Good luck with your weight loss this website has really helped me stay accountable with out ever feeling like a failure.:flowerforyou:
