Oatmeal Banana Pancakes
Just a quick but delicious breakfast I found;
To make the pancake mix for 4 pancakes, you will need:
80g (1 cup) of Oats [Healthiest you can find, I use 'Tesco Scottish Oats']
6 Egg Whites
2 Bananas
(Option to add cinnamon)
Mix all of this together in a blender/processor to make a thick mix, you can add skimmed milk to reduce the thickness if necessary.
I then use 'Fry Light 1 Cal spray' instead of butter to fry them with, as it is much healthier. On top of the 2 pancakes, I use 100g of 'Yeo Valley Fat Free, Probiotic Yoghurt' and throw on 100g of sliced strawberries.
Per serving this comes to 378 Calories, 68g Carbs, 4g fat, 26g protein.
I know that is quite a lot of carbs for the morning but personally, I enjoy a lot early, then less carbs through the day.
