Fearing the Scale.

Honestly, I haven't weighed myself in probably 4 months.
I just am afraid of facing the number that's on there.
How do all of you build up the courage to look down when you're standing on it?

I realize that its important to know how much you weigh, but I'm just trying to see if I can notice a change before I step back on the scale.

Is this okay or should I make myself face it?

Personally I think that the scale isn't as important as other things. But it's a good starting point. I would say this: If you get on, at least you will know how much you WON'T weigh in 3 months.
  • When I first started in January, I got on the scale and the number was big, and it was ugly. I couldn't believe I left myself get to that point. But, I can't tell you how rewarding it is to watch the number go down, and down, and down.

    Just get on them!

The scale is such a poerful thing isn't it...one becomes ruled by the scale...don't be afraid sometimes it has nice things to say to us other times not so much. Always remember there are many things to think about when going on the scale.....try to do it the same time everytime and preferably naked....and I learend not to do it after a bath or a shower...water has weight...anyway it will be all good...best of luck
