Has anyone been able to incorporate Harvard's Healthy Eating Plate (http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/healthy-eating-plate/healthy-eating-plate-vs-usda-myplate/index.html) with MFP's food diary?
I have been trying to think of ways to use "My Foods" and "My Meals" to organize food by category: Vegetables, Whole Grain, Fruits, etc.
Do you have any ideas.

I registerd for the healthy plate website. It will replace the food pyramid at USDA. The website was very busy and the food choices were very limited. I could not even find my healthy oatmeal that I eat everyday. I like the guide that tells you how many servings. I wonder if you changed your meal labels to the food groups and listed how many servings of each. You could then visually check the servings of fruit or vegetable and still be within the calorie range for the day. On the other hand if you used the MFP protein, and fiber daily totals and made sure you were in line with those you probably would come out about the same. Just saying.0
