Ok, I know this sounds gross!

Does anyone else experience this? I wear black when I exercise (naturally slimming makes me look 30 lbs lighter! lol) anyways.. I notice after I have sweated a large amount and once it dries there is a white trace of where I sweated! Its quite odd, really. I don't eat anything high in salt and haven't added salt to any of my foods in months.

Some people are "salty sweaters". It's a real concept - too much for me to write about right now. Theres some info out there if you google it. I think Florida State Univ. has done a study among their football players regarding this.

I get a layer of salt on my skin after running. I think it's pretty fascinating.

Anyway, according to research, it is NOT because of your diet. You, actually, may need to eat a higher sodium diet or replace electrolytes with a sports drink.

I used to live in a very hot, climate with jungle like humidity. I had to dress for work and changed my clothes a minimum of twice a day. My waist bands were 'white' with salt stains. Wherever the clothes fit my body tightly salt showed! I didn't eat salt much salt as there wasn't any to add to food and the local food wasn't made with salt. So, my point is, if it's hot enough and humid enough, you're going to get salt stains.
