5K success

Not sure if this is really what they consider a "success story" but I ran a 5K (actually it was 5.2 miles according to my MapMyRun app) for the first time in a while and managed to pull off a time of 37:30. Considering I still weigh just a shade under 260 and it was 90 degrees, I'm pretty happy with pulling off a 11:45 minute mile average. Back in march, I was averaging 13:15.
