MFP is awesome and you are applauded for taking the first step of being here. MFP, however, works best with support and motivation from others. Therefore, let me introduce you to the Hustlaballa Challenge (HBC) .
Unlike other Challenges which come and go, the HBC began as a small Challenge late in 2011 and continues to flourish and grow. Quite simply our motto at HBC is Fitness Is A Lifestyle Choice. To further the lifestyle, HBC runs weekly challenges for burns of ANY size. All you have to do is workout and enter your burn on the spreadsheet which is easily bookmarked and see how you fare against others attempting to do the same on a regular basis. It works! If you are faithful in your workouts you will see your burns increase in some cases tenfold and thereby increase your overall health & fitness. Burn 6K in a week and achieve Beastmode status; burn 15K in a week and achieve elite status. Feeling really motivated? Take a shot at any of the championship belts for mens' heavyweight champ, womens' heavyweight champ, or the super welterweight title for anyone 155 lbs or less. There is even a hall of fame where records are maintained for biggest one day burn, and number of days you have consecutively been in HBC, among other records.
New challenges begin every Monday and run through the following Sunday. Whatever the size of your burn(s) all are welcome. There's even more.
Every 6-8 weeks, the HBC runs a Team CO-OP Challenge where two teams compete for the week and pool the burns together. In the past we have collectively burned over 500K in a single week. Still want more?
The HBC recently did The Players Championship Challenge (TPCC) for those looking to take it to an entirely different level of competition. TPCC is a 3-week round robin tourney of 2-person teams battling for the right to proceed to the championship round and compete for the ultimate title as best of the best. Want to witness burns of 6K-9K in single day or 2 people combining to burn over 60K in a single week? It happened in the TPCC. We will do another in about 6-8 weeks.
If you are struggling or simply need motivation you seriously need to check out the HBC. Its easy to do. Simply friend "Hustlaballa" as well as his co-pilot "CalJur" and indicate you want to be part of the HBC. In addition, to helping raise your fitness game, you will make some great new friends on MFP dedicated to REALLY helping and supporting one another. New members are currently being accepted but open enrollment could end at anytime so hustle.
Looking forward to seeing you in the HBC. Feel free to message CalJur or Hustlaballa if you have any questions.
