anyone have a body like mine? big legs/butt/tummy?

i have always carried most of my weight in my lower tummy, butt, and legs. i have want i call a double knee that has prevented me from wearing a dress and skirt for my whole life. i have lost over 100lbs, almost 150 from my heaviest weight, and my legs aren't shrinking that much.

i'd love to know if you all have legs like mine?

here is some progress.. http://i50.tinypic.com/xlynpx.jpg

I also have always carried most of my weight in my lower body, especially my hips and legs. I don't know that this will help you, but I definitely lost weight first in my upper body. In fact, I started getting friends and family telling me that I didn't need to lose any more since I had lost so much through my face, neck and torso. But they were overlooking the obvious fact that I was still quite heavy in the lower body, so I ignored them. I have continued working out and dieting. I do a lot of exercises that target my lower area. It took quite awhile, but finally I started seeing results. As my trainer said, if you keep working and dieting, eventually your body has nowhere else to lose but those problem areas.

I has gotten better; my hips and butt actually look pretty good--at least with clothes on. :) My calves are still very large, but that's mainly because I suffer from some pretty bad edema (swelling) in that area. It is bad enough that a doctor recently scared me to death when she sent me for a lot of tests because she thought the swelling might be indicative of a serious health problem. The tests came back normal, thankfully.

Anyway, keep working, but don't be shocked if this is the last area in which you start seeing real results. It's evidently a problem area for you, as it is for me, and our bodies seem to be stubborn about letting go of fat in those areas.

My trouble spot is my midsection. I feel your frustration. The one place I want to see progress (tummy) is seeming to be the most stubborn. Many years ago I lost my fat tummy, so I know that it is possible.

I've seen changes on myself mostly in my face/neck and my back.

I can really see how much progress you've made! That's a good idea to wear the same outfit so you can compare apples to apples. :) Keep up the excellent work!

I carry most of my weight on my lower body as well. I've had thunder thighs my entire fricking life and it's so difficult to get rid of them.

I have a 'skinny' face and unfortunately weight seems to drain from there first! Grrrrr.

Your progress shots are wonderful and omg, you are gorgeous!
