Hi, I live in a small studio apartment on the second floor... my apartment complex doesnt have a gym, and I don't have a gym membership (or even a gym nearby for that matter) I love working on things like the elliptical but need something that I can fold up and maybe sit in a corner, or hide under my bed?
Does anyone have any ideas as to what i could buy?

Get a pair of triple grip handles and every cable.
It will cost about $150 but youll be able to do just about every lift with every weight.0 -
Well I have personally seen a ton of the things that you can use at home and fold up and they do not really work very well. I would say that there is a lot of things you can do with house hold items to get a workout. If you check the youtube link on my site and look up some of his exercises, he shows how to do some of them with things laying around the house. As far as an olyptical - walking/running is 150% better as it makes you force your own bodyweight forward. I know if you have time to use these machines you can do a walk or run. IF you really want to get in shape, put in as much effort as the results you want to see.0

A year or two ago my boyfriend purchased a Bayou Fitness Total-Trainer DLX.

They're a bit expensive; he somehow came across a super good deal that only last like 2 days and ended up paying under $300 for it, I believe. Though it's expensive, you may be able to search for a used one for cheap. It's no elliptical, BUT it'll help with strength training.0 -

I run outside and despise the treadmill - use it only when it snows....But I have a little (seriously sturdy!) fold up bench and a set of adjustable dumbells. Add a yoga mat and It all fits in a corner of my bedroom...Works well.... If you want to do indoor cardio, most exercise dvd's don't need a lot of space to do it...0
