Yum!
With these ingredients, my day would look something like this:
- Oatmeal with banana and blueberries for brekky
- Cafe latte (skim) and a boiled egg morning snack
- Roasted sweet potato fritatta with salad for lunch
- Fruit (and nuts if you have them) for afternoon snack. Or a peanut butter sandwich if you are hungry.
- Steamed salmon (wrap it up in foil with some lime juice, sesame oil, soy sauce and finely shredded veggies like beans, zucchini, - carrots etc) and cook it in the oven or a steamer. Serve it with more veggies and brown rice.0 -
Dang girl you've got an awesome variety of stuff!
Well for breakfast, I usually have 2 cups of Special K cereal with 1 cup of FF milk, which is about 310 calories. However, you could do something really creative with all that fruit you've got. Not sure what the nutritional facts are in the Kashi oatmeal - but I'm sure that would be good with some fruit. I think the regular oats would be good with fruit too though. But that's just me - I like sweet breakfasts. You could go for a nice egg white omelette w/ FF cheese & toast.
For lunch I usually have some kind of sandwich, but I need a lot of carbs because I'm extremely active w/ sports. I really like chicken breast sandwiches on wheat bread (just cook the chicken and then pull it into stringy strips and put it on bread) with mustard, for around 200 calories depending on how much chicken you use and what you put on the sandwich. You could also have some fruit or veggies with that too.
For dinner, I sometimes have salmon, so maybe you could just cook that & have it with a sweet potato and maybe even some veggies.
Have a good Monday!0
