Hello I am new this summer to MFP.....I get most of tools and how to use the site but I am wondering about the reclculation of goals.....I have lost more than 10lbs and I got message that poped up asking if becuase I had lost the 10lbs would I like to recalculate my goals.......? What do I do here? If I reclculate my goals based on my new wight is that going to effect theamount of calories ( add more) that I can consume- if so does that not mean I would slow down or plateau on my weight loss?

Your allotted calories will go down because you weigh less therefore your body needs less calories to function. If you keep up your current workout plan and adjust your calories to fit your new calorie goal you will continue to lose weight.0
