The final song on all my cardio workout mixes is Paradise City by GNR. Nearly 7 minutes of pushing hard to bring it home.

I have an entire "Theme" playlist that is mostly instrumentals, but this is the one that I save for the last PUSH...

It's called "Going the Distance" and it's prominently displayed in the ROCKY I and II soundtrack. It's not "Gonna Fly Now." It's the song that plays during the next to last round versus Apollo Creed in ROCKY I.

A YouTube version of it is here....

"Pump It" by the Black Eyed Peas always does it for me! But anything by Ke$ha gets the job done, too.
I'm always looking for good work out songs- this list is awesome! :-)

    Eminem - Lose Yourself

    Yeahhhp I'm pretty white

Eminem always works for me too :)

    John Butler Trio does too

and if i put on some grateful dead i can keep with it for a long time - but just a slower/less intense pace

This is clichéd and embarrassing...but the theme song to "Rocky" is still a thrilling way to push me to my max as I finish a long run, no matter how worn out I am. I'm such a child of the 70's...

Nothing wrong with that... nothing cheesy about that!!

I use this one, personally. A little less cliche, but still ROCKY....

"Lose Yourself" seems to be the overwhelming favorite for a workout playlist favorite.
