Rest Day?? Is it necessary?

I am just wondering if I should have a rest day in my walking regiment? I have started walking every day for at least 3 miles. Sometimes I am able to get 2 walks in:smile: I am just wondering if I should take one day off or would it be ok to walk 7 days a week?

    Walking? Every day.

    It's great exercise, but not at a high-enough intensity that you really need a rest day from it.

    My doctor told me to walk every day at least 30 min. or 2 miles my pick. Not to push hard everyday but walking is good for you. Your body does need a rest but if your walking depending on speed, etc. the you should be good.

    You will know if you need to take a rest day. Your legs with be heavy. You will be lethargic and cranky.

    If you are feeling good, keep on walking.

    Yes, walk walk walk, it's so easy! Maybe you should rest on rainy days ;)
