that cursing is against the rules for a website meant for 18+ adults, haha.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

(unless cursing isn't actually against the rules and you've all made some silent mutual agreement to not curse or use the alterntive "****")

I got warned by the mfp police the other day for abreviating with ** a word that rhymes with duck. I was thinking maybe this was high school.

Pornography is also banned even though the site is meant for eighteen+. It's not so weird that a website with a broad base of users is trying to keep the most possible users happy.

Some say that political correctness has gone too far--and that's an argument I won't tackle--but these rules exist to preserve a status quo.

    Keep it clean, people.

And I see no problem with banning bad language and excessive skin - some folks are uncomfortable with that, and can't we all just be polite and get along?

That's what my Mama taught me :blushing: :blushing:

Yet there are lots of girls on here with their boobs out and forums on very adult subjects. hummm.... I didn't know there was a no cursing rule but I don't make it a habit anyway so I guess I wouldn't know.... I have been known to get into some adult conversations regardless. lol

I get your point, and i'm always tempted to argue the whole "Where are my freedom of speech rights?!" and then I remember it's the WWW.

But again, cursing is most definitely not the same level as pornography. Pornography is illegal until 18, and the fact that kids under 18 could get into these servers VERY easily, makes it reasonable that it's banned.

Cursing on the other hand, isn't illegal. I was just using the age restriction as support for my argument.
