courgette flowers

I have courgette plants growing well in my garden - I'd like to use the flowers. However all the recipes I know call for frying in oil - in fact I've only ever deep fried them, and my lord they were delish!

Has anyone found a less calorific way of cooking them?

And staying with the thoughts which prompted this post - does anyone know if there's an MFP foodie/gourmet group to join?
