Was planning to give blood today, is it okay to walk later?

So I have put myself in a bit of a pickle... We had a departmental recognition lunch at work today, and I over ate. I now have 130 cals. left for the remainder of the day.

I also have a blood donation appointment scheduled this evening right after work.

We had planned to walk this evening after it cools off a bit, for exercise. And I definitely need the caloric burn so I can have a reasonable dinner.

Thoughts or suggestions?

I work in a blood bank / blood donor center.
I'd recommend against any strenuous activity. You will be losing a fair amount of hemoglobin which carries oxygen to your tissue. While it's not likely, you could end up feeling light-headed, nauseous, or possibly faint.
So I said "strenuous". If you're just going for a light walk, you'll be fine. The faint feeling shouldn't be a sneak attack (if it happens), it will creep up on you and you'll slowly start feeling "icky". If you get that far, sit down right away until it passes.

    Thank you for donating!
