Hey, i've just started out on MFP and lost 3lbs last week. I was wondering if anyone had any good foods that speed up weight loss/help maintain it? Or any other gym tips etc etc.
Just any tips!!!

Thanks in advance!

What do you do in the gym currently?

There are no foods that will make any significant changes to your metabolism, unfortunately.

If there was a food/pill that could dramatically make you lose weight quicker then I'd be a millionaire and the world would be full of skinny minnys! ;)

Get in contact if you need any support friend.

Something that I found works, but is not for me as I cannot maintain it, is cutting back on carbs. I would cut out carbs in the evening and just have meat and a lot of vegetables (like a vegetable stir fry and a chicken breast or those microwave vegetable packs with steak). I lost quite a bit of weight but I cannot keep it up as it is not the cheapest method if you do it right (those vegetable packs are £1.50 each). I used fresh vegetables as frozen didn't really taste good enough to replace pasta and I could not financially keep it up! But if you can do it it really helps as you're still full and you can still have carbs in moderation during the day.

Any Cardio, Studio Cycling or Spinning burns the most calories.
Stay away from anything from McDonalds, KFC, Pizza places. Just a coffee from here is laden with calories.
Try having Americano with skimmed milk rather than cappuccino etc. when having a coffee.

Never have biscuits or cheese until you know what you're doing.

Basically stay away from eating fast food, and keep drinking under control.
