I'm wanting my hair to grow longer, would like it below my shoulders, it's getting there but I think it's stopped growing, it seems to have been in this same length for a while now. Any tricks to growing hair? Maybe just making it grow quicker?

Honestly, trimming it. After time your hair needs to be cut for it to grow quicker, if you've noticed it has stopped growing it maybe time for a trim :) Doesn't have to be much just a little bit.
(Trust me, I had to a lot when I was young I thought it'd be awesome to get a mohawk haha)

My stylist told me to trim it frequently (6-8 weeks).

Mine was at that stage for a LONG time (see my picture) but now it's finally getting past my shoulders. It goes through "annoying" phases where it doesn't seem to change at all...then BOOM, it will seem way longer.

Some people say pre-natal vitamins make your hair grow fast...or B vitamins or Vitamin E.

I stopped using my hairdryer unless absolutely necessary ( I wash it before bed and let it air dry while I sleep). Condition when you wash it and if you use straighteners or curling irons, get a straightening/curl serum to protect it from the heat...and of course a balanced diet is important-will keep it from getting brittle.

Also, as much as it sucks, spending enough money on good hair products. I was buying cheaper products and since I started using the salon-brand stuff, it paid off, big time. My hair is not as easily damaged.

Eat healthy foods, vitamin c, get lots of protein. What you eat also effects your hair growth.

Look into biotin, its a B-complex vitamin, aids with hair growth.

Cutting off your hair will defeat the purpose of growing it. Why cut off what you're attempting to grow back?

    I'm a hairstylist.

Thanks guys, I have heard the trimming thing. I do have a few hairstylist friends and my grandmother is one also. I take b-12 and found my B-complex drops today so I may just start taking that again. I eat pretty healthy for the most part, I don't eat "Clean" but I do eat a lot healthier then I have in a long time. I could probably use a trim I do need to get it all even cus I had a bob before I decided to let it grow out.
