Is there such a thing as a low fat, low cal butter tart recipe? Or should I file that idea with unicorns and leprechauns?

If there is such a thing, and you share it with me.. I would be forever in your debt! :)

I don't know what butter tarts are.
    Sounds British.
(And yummy! Maybe it's best I never know what butter tarts are.... )

Since they are in a pastry shell and made with butter and brown sugar. I can't possibly see how they could eb made healthy and still taste good.

Maybe you can just skimp enough in your other calories some day or exercise a whole bunch so you can have them.

Instead of the full size tart maybe see if you can find a mini tart/muffin pan and make them bite sized like they do for brownies. Otherwise I don't think a butter tart can be low fat/calorie.
