I did it!!!

I have lifted on and off for 2 years. I didn't take it real seriously for a long time. I had decent strength and could lift like 85 lbs pretty well, but it wasn't anything I was motivated about. Just did it, we'll, not sure why.....I've been seriously lifting for about 4 months pretty intensely and I reached a new goal tonight. I would go into the gym always putting the smaller weights on to bench 65, 75, 85....but always telling myself I should be doing more. I wanted to use the big plates, the 45s like the guys at the gym, but that would be 135 lbs and so much further away from what I was lifting.
Tonight I benched 135!!!!! That was my max out, but I did it and it's amazing! Although I knew I would get stronger and would eventually reach this goal, I can say I actually reached it:happy:
I have my awesome friends to thank for their support and this site for keeping me on track. This just motivates me to keep working and hopefully encourage others to hit their goals no matter what they are. Just keep working, you will hit those goals!!:drinker:
