or at least someone that eats relatively the same way I do!
I'm not new here but I want to find more friends with this same attitude and that eat in relatively the same manner.
I eat with a macro percentage of 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat and I eat every few hours. I eat mostly lean meats, fat-free dairy, loads of vegetables, whole grains and some fruit. I'm not paleo, primal, vegetarian, pescetarian (although I do LOVE seafood), fruititarian or vegan. I don't eat Kosher or Halal. However, I feel like I eat in a very healthy manner with a minimal amount of processed food. I also love coming up with my own recipes and interesting healthy food combinations.
I have an occasional cheat day or cheat meal because I bank excess calories that I don't use each week. I also usually have a small amount of something "unhealthy" every day. (90/10, ya know?) If I feel like a cheat day at the end of it, I have it. If not, I just let those calories go.
My current calorie goal is 1920. I don't often hit that except for the last few days. MFP says I should lose 1.8 pounds a week on that amount and I'm okay with that. It's in between my BMR and the maintenance calories required for my goal weight. This is how I plan on eating for the rest of my life. I don't want this to be a diet- I want this to last the rest of my life as I hate thinking of things as temporary. It's encouraging knowing that I can hit my stride here and just keep going with it ad infinitum!
Of course, my motto is "Do what works until it doesn't anymore." So with that being said, I'm open to change if I have to.
So, do I have some twins? Check out my diary and tell me what you think!
