Hello -
Just found this site. I had been using another one for years, but it goes down too often and this is much easier.
I am almost 53, and 2.5 years ago, weighed 195 pounds. I am 5' 4 1/2 ". My doctor ran some bloodwork, and I had horrible results . I immediately started exercising, changed my diet (did South Beach), and got down to 150 in about 9 months.
Over the past year, I have put on about 13 pounds. It is so hard, especially at my age, but I am determined to take these pounds off and get down to 145, which was my original goal.
The key for me is exercising consistently. I am very disciplined when it comes to food, but if I don't exercise, nothing moves. Time is a big issue, but I don't want to be dead in 5 years, so I make the sacrifice. If anybody has good exercise tips, I'd love to hear them!
