ITS FRIDAY WOOHOO
DVD core fitness training 25 mins done.
Walk 1 hr with dogs done.
Walk 30mins to school will do (even though it looks like rain)
I have stuck to my diet and exercise all week 1 or to little nibble not logged but I allow for that by keeping 200 cals free.
I have a really good reason to stick with this, my best friend has asked me to be her sons Godmother when they get him christened in the summer so I would like to treat myself to a new outfit so this is my new goal for the next 6 mnths. It is such an honour to be asked and I would really like to look my best.
Have a gr8 weekend all.

TGIF! Hope you have plans for a super day! I am on my way to a scrapbooking retreat! Thus I might or might not be checking in over the weekend. I am determined to keep up with my charting so I will be continuing with my water, vitamins, & exercising...
Yesterday I did the Self: Slim & Sleek Fast dvd, drank my waters, and took my viatmins & meds. I really like the Self dvd's as they always show a low impact option which is perfect for me. I can't do any jumping on my ankle, it just won't take it, so I usually modify the workouts myself. It's nice to have them modifying it for me!
So, I lost 2 1/2lbs of the 3 1/2lbs I gained last week. I was hoping to at least get all of that back off. Oh well. I'll get it off plus some this week, how does that sound?!
+++POSITIVE THOUGHTS+++!!! :flowerforyou:
Have a GREAT weekend!

So a weekend without the kids Niccole? That's a treat! Weekends away are the best. I think I need one a month.
Yesterday I did my weights - 30 min, rowing machine 10 minutes (my weight warm up), elliptical 30 minutes, and 10 minute stretch.
Question: when you guys do weights, how do you feel afterwards? I noticed that if I do them first (after a little warm up) and I lift more, my body gets giggly. I'm not sore today, so I didn't push too hard. Will this go away? One time after a workout, I picked up a glass and my arm said "no" - the thing shattered on the floor - that's what I mean by giggly.0 -
TGIF all! I did 30 minutes of Power Sculpt & 20 minutes cardio. Weigh in this morning revealed a three pound loss so I'm stoked! I upped my calories from 1200 to 1400 on Monday and apparently my body likes the change. Ten pounds to my initial goal but I'm thinking I might add another 10 to that once I get there. I was considering taking the weekends off from exercise but instead I think I will add a 10 mile bike ride on Saturdays just for a change. I am truly ready for Spring to get here so I can get outside & start walking.0

Good morning!! Got up and exercised today - 30 mins of cardio. Weigh day was today - didn't lose anything, but didn't gain!! I'm a little disappointed, but I'm really basically o.k. with it. I lost 3 lbs last week and I kind of knew my body would stay at that level for a little bit. However, my pants are looser and I can see changes in my face and my belly - so I know something is working!! Keeping on keeping on!! Happy Friday everyone!! :bigsmile:0

My scale was up today. (I'm chalking it up to "fake weight", as I ate Japanese food yesterday, and my rings are tight, so I'm not counting it. I'll be concerned if I'm still up next Friday .) It's so hard not to be downed by that number though, dang it.
Anyway, today is a 20 minute walk (to the nail salon and back...I achieved my chart goals!)
and 60 minutes of yoga.
I had the best strength class yesterday. . .the teacher incorporated lower and upper body (doing squats and bicep curls, for example) so I'm a bit sore. . .
Happy weekend, all!:flowerforyou:0 -
Mary, you're not alone. Think about the demands you just put on your muscles! As long as it gets better within a day or so, you're o.k.!
Well, I spent the day covering lacrosse in freezing, rainy weather. I am still unwinding from that trip but will do an hour of something a bit later. I don't have to be in to work until 10:30 tomorrow, so I will sneek in early to hit the weight room for the second time.
I'll admit, I haven't taken my vitamins this week 'cause I couldn't find them. I picked up some this evening though and am back on track!0 -
I have did 40 mins of kick and punch cardio. I have also drank all of my water. Will weigh in monday0

On a bad note....I'm suffering from pms....bloating great! so I decided no scale or I would most likely cry....I feel too fragile LOL...sigh!
BUT on a really great note! I got my turbo jam today woo hoo, did my first 20 mins and LOVE IT! omg my son was laughing at me and watching my feet trying to mimic mommy (course he wasn't sweating and panting but then again I'm not 7 either! lol)
so I stayed in my daily limit on food, drank all my water and did some power walking to and from the commuter rail in the wonderful stormy weather we are having in Boston...about 100 cals (20 mins back and forth) and the turbo jam, I don't know I think its like kick boxing so that was about 250 cals....
I'm a happy camper....I'll weigh in next week, hopefully by then I'll be ah de-bloated LOL
hugs and best of luck all!
