I have a friend of mine at work, everytime I see him he has at least 2 energy (monster/xyience) drinks on his desk, and usually states he already had 2 today etc, and then tells me instead of drinking alcohol at the bar (as he doesn't drink and never has), he would usually have 4-5 energy drinks at the bar or at home with his friends as well.

Question is, what do you think the overall affects could be?! I'm baffled at how many energy drinks he can drink in a day...

Yeah just regular energy drinks, that's what I was thinking.. I told him, that going to the bar and drinking that many energy drinks, you're almost better off just drinking alcohol instead haha.

PS. Chris, you're on here quite often eh? You have a desk job or something?

that was actually me a few years ago. It started when I worked night shift. I slowly got addicted to them and was drinking them at all hours of the day. You would never see me without a redbull in my hand, and it was always the 16 ounce. I quit drinking them when I got pregnant, but started again after I had my daughter. I was diabetic during my pregnancy. I drink them like once a month now, but I switched to the red bull zero.

Yeah, diabetic seems like that's what his future will be if he carries on I guess. I obviously said my 2 cents to him and said, you know, those probably aren't the best for ya (he also doesn't eat the greatest).. told him I was on here to help me out.. he's like "i heard of that app" I was like yeah, and that was about it for that conversation. Haha..

Desk job, work from home half the week, mostly on projects I design and drive to build at my own pace etc.

Couple that with a high propensity to *kitten* off and yep, I'm on here a lot.
