70% carbs for marathoners ?

I currently have my macros set at 55/25/20 (C/P/F). I've been reading that I need up my carbs towards 70% as I start piling more miles into my weekly routine to build towards my marathon.

My problem is that I can't seem to eat that many carbs, I feel like I might pop at the end of the day with 55%. My diary is open, and I am looking for any help I can get. Thanks in advance!

    70% seems excessive. I've run 2 marathons and was no where near 70% carbs. I had PLENTY of energy for training.
