I'm very sleepy this morning for some reason and I ate breakfast (a carnation instant breakfast) & a nutra grain bar to stave off the zzzs but it's not working. I'm already 3 bottles of water in so it's not that i'm thirsty. but i'm running out of opitions (sp?).

Any ideas?

If you're inclined to eat for boredom, find something to do. Read a book, don't be mentally food centric etc.

If you don't want to do it as you know it's a bad habit, don't be absent minded about it.

You own your mind, body, and actions don't you?

wouldn't be to much of a problem if i wasn't stuck at a desk job.

For me it's exercise. After a workout I hardly feel like eating anything, but drinking water tastes so good when you're burning calories.

    Hope this helps.

Your breakfast almost entirely consisted of carbs and not the good kind (lots of sugar). Eat some lean protein and good fat. Each meal needs to balanced.
