My name is Zack and Im new to this site and i was wondering if anyone can give me any tips or pointers to this web site?

  • I am relatively new also. It would help if you could be more specific about the help you need.

    The food section of the site is where you enter what you eat. It keeps track of calories and other things you want to track. I track cholesterol, protein, fiber, fat and carbs as well. In the settings section, you are able to decide what you want to track. You can also rename you meals or add meals to your food diary, and select if you want to keep your diary to yourself or share it with others. You can add foods that are not already listed. Unfortunately, some people don't go through the entire list and add foods that are already there so the lists can get rather long because of duplicates. If you add a food, you can decide if you want to make the food available to others or not. I don't really know why you wouldn't want others to use a food you enter, but it is an option.

    I find the exercise section one of the hardest because exercises can be called different things. You can always add your own, but it is easier to use the ones already listed.

    In the tools section, you can make a ticker. You don't have to. If you want to, you make it, copy the code it gives you, and paste it to your forum signature. To find your forum signature, go to the "My Home" tab and then the "settings" heading. You will find all sorts of things you can change about your account including "change forum signature."

    The community section has the forums. Read the rules. They have hints as well. Then pick a topic you are interested in, reply to posts, or create your own thread.
