I need a little encouragement. I was doing a max fat loss of 2 pounds per week, eating 1640 calories a day.
I am a 6'2 231 pound guy. My goal is ultimately to drop down to like 210 and shred up.
I just raised my calorie goal to 2110 and 1 pound of fat loss per week. What im scared of is that it will halt my results. I have been doing well eating healthy and making a good lifestyle change with the 1640 calories. usually remain in that caloric range.
Should I beat myself up over changing my calorie goal? Or just roll with the punches.
Currently I am doing 40% protein 35% carbs and 25% fats. I usually stay within my macros and my diary is open. Feel free to check it out and make suggestions!

Definitely don't beat yourself up; I think you are doing the right thing. I could be wrong, but I am assuming you are lifting or doing cardio?0

Actually I plan on doing both. Im starting that stronglift 5x5 program an doing Either light 30 min cardio or intense 12 to 15 min cardio on days that im not lifting.0

It might halt for a week or two, and you may even gain a little, but dont get discouraged, once your body realizes the change, you'll start dropping again. Also, if your planning on weight training, then some of that fat weight will be turning into muscle weight. Dont judge your progress by the scale, take measurements instead.0

Oh, then you will be good for sure. I went through a similar calorie adjustment like yours and I am 30lbs lighter and didnt slow me0

I went on a light run today and didnt have enough energy to do the distance I am gonna raise my cals and see if that helps!0
