Squishing myself in jeans
During the summer I gained back all the weight I lost in the Spring. And you can tell it's just because I ate crap because it all went into belly fat. This is the first time in my life that I've been this shape. Usually my thighs are the reason I have to buy larger pants, not it's my gut. I was going to two birthday parties yesterday so I decide to take the leap and try to get into the size 8 pants. I start putting them on and I'm like "holy crap they're going to fit!" Then I tried to close them -- oooffffff. I laid down on the couch to close and zip them. I got them on, but there was some serious muffin top. I put on a cute shirt with an empire waist and created the little optical illusion (then I tried again with some spanx just to control the tummy). I rocked those jeans. Everyone said that they looked great and my legs looked so long. I guess no one has to know my secret! So now to keep losing until this jeans fit and they will so help me God

Had to laugh!!! Tell me about the "spanx"! I wear a 6 in levi, 7 in cruel girl jeans, 6 in riders, 6/8 in christopher blues so I would say I am now pretty much a 6/8 but I am a scale freak and want under my 150 pounds!!! I am uncomfortable telling people I weigh that much , must be from the old saying that we should weigh in the 120's! I am very fit and work out just about everyday but I snack to dang much! I am going to be good to myself this week and eat clean. The highest I have ever weighed (not being pregnant) was 190# and wearing a 14 pants. Kept on my exercise but ate too much carbs. I do not eat bread now and I think that is what has kept me in the 150's this past three years! Now I have got to do some more food clean up, Last winter I was in the 140's and felt great so that is what I have GOT to do.
I wish you the best at making those 8's feel great, then you'll be aiming at a 6 !!!

I had to say this made me laugh because it sounds so much like me! I am exactly the same way. And I love the fact that they are making shirts with the elastic on the bottoms so they kind of poof out and cover that muffin top! Woohoo for elastic and Spanx!!!!!:bigsmile:0
