Ok, so I am eating my 5-6 mini meals a day but am still having a hard time getting all my calories in. I have unlimited access to beef, but what other high calorie foods do you guys like that aren't junk?

The single, highest calorie item in my day to day menu is Blue Diamond's Dark Chocolate Almonds. So good, 160 cal, lots of healthy fats and protein.

Nuts, seeds and avacado are great high calorie healthy foods. Anything high in unsaturated fats. Peanut butter is my favorite.

Or if you are steaming veggies, try cooking them in olive oil instead.

Fat as 9 calories per gram, while carbs and protein have 4 calories per gram.

My husband cowboys for a living so we get 1/2 a beef every six months. For 2 people and an infant, that is pretty darn hard to finish before the next 1/2 a beef comes.

I'm not the biggest peanut butter or avocado fan, but I can definitely try those! My hubby would love if I started incorporating both of those more often as they are his favorite!

Would focusing on more protein be good? Beef, chicken, seafood, eggs?

    Extra virgin olive oil
Dairy (full fat milk, cheese etc)
    Fatty fish such as salmon

Most calorie dense foods will be fat based, as fat has the most cals per gram
