I have such a hard time not associating my self worth with my weight. When I am heavy/ier I feel like a loser even though I know I have TONS to be proud of. I am afraid that until I fix that I will always fight the weight. Anyone have any suggestions?

Just love yourself regardless!...In your time of self doubt say "I Love You---insert name here---". Probably not what you wanted to hear but it's what I tell myself when I feel down about myself.0

i think a lot of folks have a hard time not feeling self worth = weight.
try and do things for yourself and others that make you feel good!
you are worth it0 -
You have to work on all of it at the same time.
As you advance in your weight loss efforts, also do little things to increase your happiness with other areas of your life.
Whats your style? How are you gonna dress at goal weight?
How organized is your home?
What hobbies and activities make you happy?
Can you get better at them?
Can you find a way to level them up and try harder versions of these things?
Or find a way to profit from them?
Or turn them into personal rituals?
Do you want to travel, visit family, old friends? Get back in touch with them now and enjoy researching the cost of the trip.
How are your social skills? Those arent handed to you at goal weight either, you have to get slowly braver starting now.
is your kitchen/house/car in a state that looks as though it belongs to a healthy fit person? Time to clean out the cabinets and slowly replace all teh long standing ingredients with better healthier ones?
How can you slowly morph your standard shopping list into something better?
Any fears you can face head on?
The point is to always be working on progressing in several areas of your life, so when your weight loss progress stalls, you dont feel like an all around failure- cause there are still areas you are moving forward in. You can never be at a complete plateau.
Who do you want to create yourself to be?
Start slowly building her from scratch NOW.
By the time you reach goal weight, youll have an incredibly tight bond with yourself (body included) and be far more read to face the world, than some aunt who lost 60 pounds doing 4 months of slim fast.0 -
Thanks ladies! Great advice and at least I know I'm not alone.0
