Hi all I found this website last night while watching a utube video about someone who lost weight and it just got me motivated to do something. I want to lose about 17kg which is going to take a while but it will be worth it. Self motivation has never been a strong point for me so it's going to be a real challenge!

    I'm brand new here too, as of this evening. Because of some health issues, I am unable to do the active activities I used to enjoy. So I'm down to walking for exercise and wanting to lose a bit of weight. Maybe 15-20 lbs. Hope to find the help and motivation here. Anyone use the Fitbit? How do you like it? How does it motivate you?

    Yeah I was wondering about the Fitbit as well. I go down to my local park to walk at a brisk pace and I have made myself a little circuit that includes stairs and uphill/downhill.
