Lowering of calories

After loosing 10 pounds, The ap asked me if I wanted to reevaluate my goals and then auto corrected my daily calorie goal to 1420 calories a day. I was originally at 1480 a day. I am just wondering if this is a good idea? I have read that it is not really safe to eat less than 1500 calories a day and I also don't see how I could do it as its hard enough to stay at 1480 a day now. I put the calorie goal back to 1480 a day. I should still be able too loose weight considering I eat a lot less than I used to before the diet. Why would I want to lower the goal again? I think I would be uncomfortably hungry.
