What foods do you eat to get your macros in?

In looking at several posts, I have noticed that many have recommended a combination of 40% carbs/30% protein/30% fat. What combination of foods do you eat to get close to that? It seems like on any given day I am way off that combination. Either carbs is significantly over 40% or protein is or significantly less.

Does this combination help speed up weight loss?
