Increase weight

I gained like 2-4 lbs in a week!, I am on my period but never gained so much? I was able to lift higher wt dumb bells much easier. My cardio is down for sure. Do u think it's weight gain or muscle or just that time of month?

    Just that time of the month. Your sodium might be higher as well, or...since you lifted heavier weights...your body might be storing more glycogen, which also increases water weight.

    The one thing I'm 100% certain of, is you didn't put on 2-4lbs of fat, or muscle...in one week.

    I've been known to put on 6 lbs during my ToM, so it's probably just water. The nice thing about that is that when it's all over, you get a swoosh down the scale!

    I've learned, you don't have to gain weight this time of month, if you do it will be water weight. I've been studying and if you double the amount of water during that week and do the same amount of cardio, you will drop about 2-3lbs that is with out weights. I don't lift when it is that time of month!
