Ladies who have done or are doing stronglifts 5x5

hey ladies i plan on starting stronglifts soon but i'd like to know if you also did cardio along with weight lifting, and if you did do cardio did you do it the same day you liften or on your rest days?

    I am totally wondering the same thing. I started SL and right now I can handle doing cardio afterwards but I'm pretty sure that will change as the weight goes up....wish you had some more responses!

    I don't know what stronglifts is but I'm doing Nautilus, if that's anything similar you're welcome to ask me anything about it.

    I usually don't do cardio on leg days. I do it afterwards and it's only for 15-20 minutes.
  • I am currently doing SL and cardio the same day.

    I run at 60% heart rate level for 3 miles every morning 5AM. Since I don't excert myself, I am able to do my SL 2x a week in the evening.

    On days were I will do either a long run (5-7 miles) or long hike (3hours+), I will not do SLs.

    My trainer is watching me to make sure I don't get injured and I do listen to my body. So far my body is taking to it very well.

    Who knows I might not do cardio as my weight increases.
