I'm over 50 and have over 50 lbs to lose. NEVER thought I'd be in either of these situations since I grew up in south Florida wearing bikinis and tanning/swimming all the time...AND I'm hesitant to even say hello on here since I've been known to start a lot of projects and never finish them..but if my computer holds up..I'm determined to log on daily!!!

After receiving a generic post card from a hynopsis center (yesterday) that stated..HOW BIG ARE YOU GOING TO GET? I realized I had to do something!!!! It was a great marketing tool and I was tempted..but I would rather use the money for new clothes or a vacation than hypnosis..I know HOW to do this..it's just the PERSERVENCE...So..late last night..with full blown insomnia..I joined my fitness pal. I worked out this morning and had a healthy breakfast..so far so good.

I'm looking for a buddy or two to keep me honest and motivated to keep logging on. I taught public school for decades but now teach online and I love reading, gardening, interior decorating..I've lived all over the US and I've traveled overseas quite a bit but now I'm happy to stay put with my husband, teenage son and dog. I'm trying to break my FACEBOOK habit...I have a twitter account and a neglected blog...would love to get serious about my writing... is this TMI ? LOL sorry

    ok...I had a healthy lunch and posted a few posts..

    I wanted to comment on the DART post but couldn't find it again...I was going to suggest turning the darts into a game of push ups, sit up, lunges, etc. depending on the number you hit with the darts..or jumping jacks...then you've got yourself a cardio dart game!
