I am leaving on Saturday to spend a week at the lake.....and instead of looking forward to it I am dreading it. Let me explain.... I got to my lowest weight in Dec, then the holiday functions started and I gained 8 pounds, took me till feb to get back down then our Mexico holiday came and I gained 12 , took me till this week to get back down. Now it's lake time, and I really don't want to to through this again. Keep in mind while on vacations I am sill active, I will go walking/ hiking, biking ,swimming. I didn't count cals during that time, but I thought I had done so well, only having one serving and limiting snacking. Any helpful suggestions welcome, what do you do while on holiday?

So understand what you are going through. I do well for 3 weeks and then some sort of trip or celebration get in the way and then I feel like I am starting again. I used to stress about it, but now I try to relax and enjoy my trips/vacation and then start again fresh. You are doing all that you can do. You are still working out and at the lake you still have control over what you eat....and I am sure that you'll make some good decisions and if there are days when you snack on more then you want, then don't be so hard on yourself. Just keep in mind portions and not sure if you are planning to do bbq, but these are the best b/c then you can have a good amount of protein and try to have a bit less carb. Try to drink plenty of water throughout the day and enjoy the beautiful waters.
Have a great trip :-)0
