Hi I am new at this site. My sister and I decided it was time for a change in our eating lifestyle. I am 5'-3" currently at 183 lbs (I lost 3 pounds and I am proud) and considered obese. I was always skinny and this fact is true marriage life can make you literally explode . What made me make this commitment was that my 12 size jeans were fitting a bit tight and that worried me. I am not going to lie and say it has been easy making sure I count every calorie I eat. I started on July 1st and so every once in a while I get cravings but I just eat fruit and imagine it to be chips (LOL). Also I left my Dr.Pepper addiction something I couldnt do in the past since I love soda. I tried a liquid diet in the past that didn't work instead I gained weight no surprise there. I tried herbalife btw its expensive and the pills are huge and that did not work. They had me taking a bunch of pills daily and some horrible shakes eventually I gave up. I did work out every once in a while but I still ate the same way so I never lost any weight. I am not content in my size and neither is my sister.I have been this weight since 2006 and I am really tired of it. I want to be able to smile in the mirror. I want to be able to feel great about myself. If anyone wants to add me as a friend that would be great. We can share information on how to help ourselves reach our goals.
