I've been lurking on the message boards for 17 days now, reading here and there. Finally introducing myself! I used to be a skinny little fit-freak, then I got pregnant at an early age, and gained 70 lbs during the one pregnancy. Six years and 15 lbs later, I got pregnant again, and gained 26 lbs. My youngest will be two in September, so it's definitely time to lose this weight. I have PCOS, which does make it a bit more difficult, but I'm sure it isn't impossible.
I weighed 216 when I had my daughter. I got down to 184 back in April of this year, but had surgery to repair a couple of hernias, and gained up to 197 by May 27th. I said enough is ENOUGH! So, I started eating better. I lost about .7 lbs a week, then decided to throw exercise in. Someone then introduced me to MFP, and here I am. It's slow going, incredibly slow, but this will work. I refuse to give in.
