It seems like every tie I go camping there's a ton of junk food everywhere as well as a lot of temptation.
I'm looking for good food to bring for snacks, meals, etc...

I pre-cook chicken breasts just to have on hand for snacking. I also bring some to cook there. But other than that, I bring trail mix, lots of fruit, pita and hummus and veggies.
Just eat what you normally eat.... just take it with you.
You can do tinfoil dinners in the fire with veggies and chicken or lean beef. They are great!0 -
I bring portioned snacks only (i.e. small individual bags of baked chips, jerky, etc.) so I don't go wild with a big bag. One small bag is usually around 100 cals. Drink water between alcoholic drinks. Bring fruit and veggies. For meals I make turkey burgers, pork chops, turkey weiners, and use lettuce instead of buns. (I do alot of camping!)0
