I wake up at 5:00am to get to work by 7 (commute by subway), and finish work at 3:30 or 6:30, depending on the day. If I finish at 3:30, I get home at 4:30, do dishes & laundry & cleaning for an hour, then pick up our son at daycare at 6pm, then dinner, and bedtime story, baby in bath, I get a shower (I work with lots of dust & funky stuff in a big shop, and I really have to wash the stuff off in the evenings for comfort). If I finish work at 6:30, hubby picks up baby & when I get home at 7:30, baby is handed to me by an exhausted hubby who needs a break by then. (Wish we could afford a nanny!)
I used to go running a few times a week, but I don't seem to be able to find the time, or energy these days. I work on my feet as a carpenter in a huge shop with concrete floors--not conducive to running during non-working hours, but I love running. Most employees there have pot bellies, and I'm trying to keep off the baby weight. There's a food truck that comes at 9:15 and at 11:45am daily where most people get their food--(NOT HEALTHY). I usually bring a healthy salad for lunch, including a 120 calorie dressing. I also keep almonds at my station for times when I don't have time to bring food since they don't spoil quickly. I had thought about keeping baby carrots around, but there's no fridge nearby. The fridge is way across the shop in an upstairs room by the locker rooms, so it would be weird to travel that far just for a snack.

get one of the big lunch boxes that are insulated and you can keep whatever foods you want in it.
try workout out on just the weekends to start out with.. you have a lot going on and i know you want to spend time with the babies and not just feel like you work 24/7 and then come home to work MORE and never have time with your family!0 -
On your early days could ask husband to bathe baby while you workout.
Workout right before your shower
Push back dishes till baby is in bed cook a crockpot meal to save time.
I have to work out at 10:30 pm after waiting tables so I know it sucks. Try to get in lots on days off.0
