This is my first time posting so hi everyone. I hit my weight loss goal and I'm at 170 right now. I hit a brick wall and I need some help. I feel like I am constantly tired and I realized I was only eating 1600 calories a day because I was still cutting. If I bump up my calories will I see that fatigue go away? I'm taking Multi Vitamins and fish oil already. I joined the Air Force and I leave October 30th so I still have a couple months left. Running has started to bore me and I've pretty much stopped it. I'm going to start Insanity for my cardio and do calisthenics since all the PT tests revolve around them. Also, will insanity help build muscle too? Just a few questions that I had, Thank you.

It's really hard to say--if you belong to a gym, your best bet might be to talk to the in-house dietitian/nutritionist, but if you're feeling tired and out of energy all the time, it may be that you are not getting enough protein. When you say you are eating 1,600 calories a day, do you take note of how many grams of program and complex carbs you are eating? You need the carbs for immediate energy, but protein is what will help your body heal after a workout. I think most people need 40+ grams of protein a day (I try to get at least 50) from things like salmon. Good luck!0

My calorie deficit was about 900 calories. That's why I was asking. Also I am starting to go heavy on protein... I try to do a gram/lb.0

I ate what you are eating and I find I had to increase it. My weight loss is completey stalled.
Going high on protein is a good idea. I don't think insanity will help you build muscle but it will strengthen it. It's mostly cardio.0
