i recently went thru this big big big time and gained 30 lbs from january till now, but i rejoined my old gym, and it felt so good to be back that it renewed my motivation and gave me a great inspiration to get back in the game. I also over hauled my diet and cut my portion sizes and started eating whole clean foods, and it gives me energy cause its good for me food, exapmles whole unrefined grains, unprocesssed foods, lots of water, fruits and veggies, lean protien....and it all makes me feel motivated!!!!! And heres some more motivation I work at a retirement home, and have a fave resident, she loves to sing dance and sit with her feet up on the chair and walk around, and she does this all at 96!!!!!!! so if at 96 a woman has the get up and go so can we!!!!! Plus there is one thing exercise can give you and thats the endorphin rush, youll feel good and happy!!!!!

Really upping my exercise effort helps me get out of ruts. I recommend trying a new exercise class at the Y or a gym, just because I think it also helps me to be more motivated when I'm in a group. Or maybe a walking/exercise buddy would help?
Good luck! :flowerforyou: I'm sure most of us have been in the same boat!
