Getting started question

So I've been playing around with fitnesspal for a few months, but seriously started tracking this week. So far, so good. I'm on a 1200 calorie diet and I'm exercising whenever I can, but at least 3 hours a week. My question is I noticed when I have calories left over (always my exercise calories), the program tells me I'm not eating enough calories. Should I be eating all of my exercise calories too?

    have 1200 and leave the calories that you worked off, so if you work off 500 it should say 500 calories remaining, and just leave them. thats what i do.
